Sleeping Beauties is a collaborative project of sensibilization against machista violence.
A denunciation as well as a tribute to all women killed by their couples or ex couples in Spain, Sleeping Beauties honors those women who never will wake up and remember us, we can´t forget the tragedy of their murders.


The objective of the project is involve the society to create actions, ceremonies or homages, based on adhesives showing a drawing of a bed with a pillow inscribed with a number asigned for a morder victim as well as the date and the motive of her death. The number of adhesives is the reported number of deaths from 2001*.

2. After receiving the sticker, document the ceremony, tribute or action (using the sticker.)
3. e.mail your photographic documentation to mariamaria@ojoatomico.com
